Β Voula's Beach

Its waters were an attraction for young and old during the 70s and 80s, where there were still shells on the beach. But what made this beach unique was the combination it offered the swimmers. A few meters away from the beach there were basketball and volleyball courts, where children and parents sported.
The EOT coast was one of the few beaches that had organized changing rooms and bathers could shower and change clothes discreetly and civilly.
It was one of the most important public beaches in the past, but the place was although it was abandoned.
The Municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni seeks to reopen the gates of the Coast II of Voula by creating a new recreation pole on the Athenian Riviera, and proceeded to a tender for its sub-rent.
For the exploitation of the area of approximately 74 acres of the Coast, which has been granted by the ETAD to the Municipality, it has been estimated that an investment programme of more than EUR 6 million will be required.
